LOCAL SPORTS ORGANIZATIONS

Volunteer coaches are needed for all local and recreation sports programs.  To be a coach, volunteers must attend the Rutgers Youth Sports Coaches Clinic, a 3-hour clinic held three times a year online and in-person and pass a criminal background check performed by the individual sports organizations.   Information regarding volunteering as a coach for Recreation Basketball, Wrestling, Field Hockey and the Special Needs Activity Program is available by calling Gary Buchheister, Recreation Director, 201-664-7882 or emailing gbuchheister@westwoodnj.gov.  For coaching information for other programs please visit the websites below.
