HELP US PLAN SOME GREAT COMMUNITY EVENTS!

Volunteers Needed!

You might be asking, "What is Celebrate Westwood all about, and why should I volunteer or partner with them?"

It's a great question and to be honest it's an easy one to answer:  Celebrate Westwood is all about civic pride! Our organization was founded to honor the 125th Anniversary of the Borough of Westwood.  We worked with borough departments, civic organizations and a small, all-ages, army of volunteers to plan community events and projects - - community quilt, festival day, historic presentations and tours, movie nights and more!  It was so much fun we didn't even hesitate when asked if we'd pitch in supporting and promoting Westwood businesses during the pandemic.  We love Westwood (#lovethehub) and all the people, places and things that make it a great place to live.  It's a fantastic community and we are happy to support it!  Thing is, while a small dedicated group of volunteers can do a lot, we think we could do even more with broader assistance from the greater community!  That's YOU!

We are always looking for residents, volunteer groups and even interns (college or high school) to pitch in with planning some great community events! We have need for all kinds of volunteers and partners - graphic artists, web site builders, social media gurus, musicians, event organizers, fundraisers, artists, writers and more!  Plus, we'd love to hear your ideas about events, promotions and projects that you'd like to see in Westwood.  No idea too crazy to consider (trust us, we brainstorm crazy ideas all day long!)

All ages and abilities are welcome to pitch in!  We will certify official volunteer hours for any WWRSD students, Westwood scouting troops or other service organization volunteers who are looking to fulfill volunteer hour requirements.

We look forward to celebrating Westwood with you!
